Child Care

Child Care

Infants

We approach our infant care with quality and base it on the individual needs of the infant. We work with parents to determine what is the best planned for their infant. We do our best to focus on individual progress, infant-newborn improvement.

Such as:

  • Cognitive
  • Language
  • Physical movement
  • Fine motor skills
  • Gross motor skills

We stimulate growth with interactions that studies have shown to make positive impacts on the growth in children. We look forward to work with parents to ensure their children get everything they need to thrive.

Toddlers

It might look like just child’s play, but toddlers are hard at work. They are learning important physical skills as they gain muscle control, balance, and coordination. Providing opportunities so toddlers can explore, ask questions, use their imagination, and practice fine motor skills, such as stacking blocks or coloring.

Early Toddler (12–24 months)

  • pulls/carries toys while walking
  • stoops and gets back up
  • begins to run
  • kicks a ball
  • holds railing going up/down stairs

Older Toddler (24–36 months)

  • climbs well
  • bends over easily without falling
  • runs well
  • kicks ball forward
  • starts to pedal tricycle
  • throws ball over head

We provide programs to keep your toddlers safe, active, healthy, and learning without realizing they are learning.

Welcome!

Welcome to Our Pride Child Care, we offer a secure place for your children to play, work and learn and build relationships with children and adults. We value diversity. We believe that children learn through active exploration and play and self-esteem is built on mutual respect between us all – adults and children. We structure our program to be responsive to the needs of each child. We therefore offer opportunities for group activities and privacy to play or work individually. Formal religious training is not taught, however, grace will be said at meal and snack times. The children will be taught a simple prayer. God is a necessary part of our lives. It is to him we turn to for guidance and help. The Preschool will use bible stories as guides and examples.
